Eerie, SHORT STORY, 2 crazy old ladies? Haunted House? WHAT TO ADD, CHANGE, does it make sense?? HELP Plz?

***OK I PROMISE YOU, best answer will be handed out in ONE HOUR, I have excellent y/answers history**** So please tell me what makes no sense...or what I should add...or take out...plz and thank you!!

Young and vibrant, a woman named Mable decided to settle down, away from her family, at the age of twenty four. She and her husband, Herb, moved into an old cabin in a remote corner of California's wine country, 45 minutes North of San Francisco. She and her husband soon became a happy little family of 3, bringing Evelyn into the world. Their happiness proved to be short-lived, as Herb received a fatal diagnosis, in his early 30’s. Though he fought nobly, the disease won. He passed away during surgery, as Mable and Evelyn waited in the sitting area just down the hall. After only 7 years of marriage, Rose found herself a grieving widow with a small, 6 year old child. The mother and daughter lived privately, and made it through the years without their husband/father, living off Herb’s inherited stock from the wine industry.

Evelyn felt that losing her father due to illness was an unfair disadvantage to her life, and through the years, at a young age, It left an empty, scarred, angry hole in her heart. One that shaped her character from early on.

As she got older, Evelyn spent all of her time alone. She felt no remorse in neglecting her studies or when she stopped playing with the other children in the community. The only time she would leave her home was when she traveled down to the oceanside by bicycle. She was still a normal girl, just a quiet, introverted one. No one suspected anything, it was just thought to be Evelyn's way of coping. In her early teenage years, her mother discovered she was experimenting in local witchcraft. Soon, her isolation was coupled with pentagrams and spiritual studies.

As decades crept by, Mable’s socialization and contact with society became merely non existent. By the time Mable was 67, she was diagnosed with Heliophobia and Agoraphobia. She eventually moved to the upstairs attic, covering every single window with cloth, blocking natural sunlight light from entering her darkened room. Afraid to live life, her disease and obsessive compulsive disorders only complicated matters worse. Some of her symptoms included wanting nothing to do with people or being outdoors. She was not even mentally capable of checking mail from her own box at the end of the driveway. The only person who ever came to visit their cabin in the woods was a local doctor, who would check up on them from time to time.

By the time Mable was in her late 80’s, her daughter Evelyn’s mind was beginning to show signs of a deteriorating mind herself. Neighbors stated that her depression had worsened, and her vision of reality had become faltered. It was said that she would play games with her mother’s mind, locking her in the attic, and often believing that her mother had been stolen from their own home and that she would search for her mother on the grounds of the property, sometimes yelling and searching down the street. Her chemical disorders of the mind were all more than the neighboring families wanted to accept. She suffered daily with panic and anxiety, but was already accustomed to this way of life. When her name is brought up, people still share stories of seeing Evelyn on the beach side, performing spells on the sand, and spoke of her collection of shells, dolls, canister items, and other unknown memorabilia that was just recently discovered.

The mysteries of their lives, family, physical, mental history will never fully be exposed, as Evelyn was the last child of the family. Stories have been told that people thought Evelyn had cursed her mother into having phobias, which was the downfall of her sanity. When the mother finally passed, it is unknown where she was buried or if she was cremated. Evelyn eventually moved into a county home because she could no longer manage her own well being. Evelyn passed 8 years ago, and since she has left the home in which she grew up in,… no one has entered the home, until my contact, just recently.

it is a filtered heated, and well taken care of divided and roomy,can i put these fish in it,1 dwarf lionfish (6") tops,2blue and 2 red clawed hermit crabs,2 common clownfish,2 small black clownfish,2 firefish gobies,1 orange tailed figi puffer, 1 starfish max 7 " .1 birdsnest coral,1 condylactos anemonee atlantic, and one small lobster 5"or less and comunity safe.
there is a big divider for the lion and puffer i am talking about water quality stocking not comatibility.

Building a COMPUTER have a few Q's?

Alright so here we go. Bear in mind this is my first build (well with new parts)
I am planning on building a replacment system for my P4 (1.6Ghz 768MB DDR 400mhz ram 40GB IDE) because it decided to go china syndrome with the capacitors on the motherboard...

Anyway I have to build a VERY Cheap system to replace it, otherwise I'll be using this P2 for quite some time.. (From MSY's PRICE LIST)
AMD AM3 Sempron LE-140 ($39) (Going AMD because they rearly change socket type + future upgrading)
1GB PQI DDR 3 Ram ($29)
AsRock N68S3-UCC OR G-B 74GMT-S2 ($52 $63)

My questions are as follows
1. Has anyone noticed the ASROCK board out of stock for a while (msy @ brendale)and how often is the stock usually replenished
2. The gigabyte board (on it's website) says that it is compatable with this particular sempron from a later BIOS version (F4), is there a way to tell what bios version is preinstalled on the BIOS chip without powering it up (IE a label, sticker or something).

3. what is MSY's return policy. Let's take the particular scenario that I went with the gigabyte motherboard and it turned out to have an earlier BIOS version and therfore was not compatable with the sempron, would I be able to switch the CPU (although thinking about it I should get an x2 245 but costs and extra $29)

4. Has anybody built a REAL cheap AMD box, with similar components and if you have can you please post your config just to give me a little reasurance in building this thing.
I'll be using the components from my last pc (I have a VERY limited budget less than $200) and it only has to replace a PII (128MB 333Mhz) system that I am using right now as a free replacment..

Strongest engine I could fit in an S-10?

It's a 1994 SS model, and from what I've seen the engine compartment on the SS is slightly smaller than the standard. Currently I have the stock V6 4.3L Vortec, but from what I've read about them it's not going to last that much longer (131k miles). I want the most horsepower I can fit in the compartment without any major modifications. Again, I'm not looking at size, but horsepower.

Just throw out suggestions, I don't need a long speech about anything other than that. I'm aware that there are other ways to increase horsepower other than switching the engine. I'm fairly competent when it comes to cars, so don't worry about telling me anything other than what I'm asking.

my cousin's gf rescued a gold fish from being eaten in a dare to someone so she gave it to my cousin beacuse he has a ten gallon tank however his ten gallon is over stocked so i'm he asked me if it could live in his sister betta bowl with the betta and i told him no but it brought up the idea of maybe getting a standard goldfish bowl cheap inexpensive and easy fix temp until either i can get ahold of a ten gallon tank or he can get something bigger for it he has a 10 gallon air pump and i gave him enough tubing that he could bridge off a tube into the goldfish bowl so it would have air but no filtration so i'm assuming he'd have to change the water alot what is the best thing to do because i can't even take the fish because my 30 gallon is over stocked as well and i can't take it because my fish are to big and would eat it so really i don't know what to do if u have any ideas please help as i said we are looking for a temp fix until either he can do something with it or i can come up with something for it

Which is a better career path, Manager of Gamestop or Personal Banker at JP Morgan Chase?

So here's the deal. I have two promising job offers at big companies, Chase bank and Gamestop. One is a store management position at a big video gaming/electronics retailer, and one as a personal banker for the second largest bank in the nation. The highest i could go in Gamestop i believe is District Manager, which can bring in a decent living around 70k i've heard, and is relatively easy to do after some years spent there, and maybe even shorter time with all of their locations, if i relocated eventually. Being a personal banker could eventually lead to bank management, financial advisement, etc. I'm having trouble deciding which would be more beneficial in the long run. I'm 26, no kids, and i'd be happy doing both. Which would could provide more transferrable skills if i ever stopped working there or something happened to the company? What about the economy? The banks have already been bailed out once, but i only see Gamestops' stock rising, and more stores being built. Sheesh!!! lol. Thanks everybody!!!

I overclocked and what I got was a cooler/faster system, is this possible or is it just a bug?

Ok so I have a Q8400 processor @ 2.66MHz stock which according to the bios settings and cpu-z that the detected VCore was 1.28V with all BIOS settings on AUTO, stock temps range at 40C-64C with gigabyte G-Power 2 pro cooler(ambient temp@37C).
but after O.Cing it @ 3.2MHz with just 1.16V temps now range at 38-52C, and yes the system was stable and more faster, I tried stressing the cores to 100% overnight(around 8hrs) still the system was pretty stable, i've been using this O.C. settings for a week now.
My question is:
-Is this settings safer than the default settings? This means my processor will last much longer rather than running it on auto settings right?

Looking at purchasing one in the not to distance future (within 6 months or so). Were can I buy them in australia?

I have looked online for a website but can not find one in Australia. BBQ Galore do not appear to stock them (from there website at-least).

Are the Royal Kamado's just as good? Purists of the BGE say there not as good, but I may have no alternative. We do a little grilling but love smoking and we think this would suit our needs.
