Obviously not; She obviously would rather you didn't spend time with her. I'd suggest finding a few new friends for a while.

Yes, if you have been rejected then also you should continue with your friendship as you got to the real feelings of the person rather than fake feelings and should appreciate this.

Women don't usually like attention all that much. Not the kind described here. She did explain that she wanted more sporty type people. Whatever your own interests, if you join some of those in the school, you'll be more apt to meet others who care for you, share your interests. There's sometimes ambivilance in people, too. They want, they don't want. But if this girl is moving out of your life, then usually it's best to move on. Sounds like a lot of confusion and pain went along
with this situation. Do you really want more of that?
